Using Homeschool & Charter Funds
Yes — you can use your education funds toward Rooted in Writing.
If your family receives funds through a state ESA, Education Freedom Account, or a California charter school, you can likely put those toward a Rooted in Writing subscription. We've walked through the steps for each program below, so it's clear & simple from the start.
We're an approved vendor in Arizona, Arkansas, and New Hampshire, and we've had orders approved through California charter schools as well. New states are on the way.

Why families use their funds with us
Screen-free & hands-on. Every box pairs a thoughtfully chosen picture book with developmentally appropriate activities that build early literacy & fine motor skills.
Nonsectarian. No religious content in our boxes or the books we choose — which keeps us eligible under most funding guidelines.
Standards-friendly. Our writing prompts align with Common Core writing standards for grades TK–2, so your child's work can double as work samples where your program requires them.
Everything included. All the materials come in the box, so there's nothing extra to track down.

Need an invoice or our vendor info? *
Most programs just need an itemized invoice from us — or, for some charter schools, our vendor details to add us as an "Other Vendor."
Either way, fill out one quick form and we'll send exactly what your program needs. Request an invoice / vendor info →
