If you have an Educational Freedom Account through the state of Arkansas, you can use those funds toward your Rooted in Writing subscription — and we've laid out exactly how below.

There are now three ways to do it. Two of them mean nothing comes out of pocket, and the newest — a ClassWallet payment request — is the simplest yet, because we handle most of the steps for you.

Option 1 — Payment Request (new & easiest)

With a payment request, you fill out one quick form and we do the rest. No invoice to upload on your end — we send the payment request straight to you to approve

  1. Fill out our invoice request form with your student's name & the subscription you'd like.

  2. We'll send a request through ClassWallet to be linked to your account as a vendor. Just accept it when it comes through.

  3. Once we're linked, we'll submit the payment request for you — built from the details you gave us on the form.

  4. Approve the payment request in ClassWallet. Arkansas Homeschool Freedom has a simple walkthrough here: how to approve a payment request.

  5. Once it's approved, ClassWallet sends payment to us — and we'll get your box on its way.

Option 2 — Direct Pay (no out-of-pocket cost)

With Direct Pay, ClassWallet sends payment to us directly from your student's EFA funds. You never pay out of your own pocket.

  1. Request an invoice from us using the invoice request form. We'll need your student's name & which subscription you'd like.

  2. We'll send you an itemized invoice with everything Arkansas requires — our vendor name, a clear description of each item, itemized prices & the total, and your EFA student's name.

  3. Log in to ClassWallet, go to the Direct Pay section, and select "Pay."

  4. Choose Rooted in Writing as your vendor and upload the invoice we sent you.

  5. Once your Direct Pay request is approved, ClassWallet sends payment to us — and we'll get your box on its way.

Option 3 — Reimbursement

Prefer to purchase now & be reimbursed? You can do that too.

  1. (Recommended) Submit a Pre-Approval Request Form through School Choice Arkansas first — it helps speed things along. Pre-Approval Request Form

  2. Purchase your subscription right here on our site.

  3. Upload your receipt in the Reimbursement section of the ClassWallet portal.

  4. Your receipt will include everything EFA looks for: our name & contact information, a clear description of each item, itemized prices & the total, and the date of purchase.
