If you have an Educational Freedom Account through the state of Arkansas, you can use those funds toward your Rooted in Writing subscription — and we've laid out exactly how below.

There are two ways to do it. Most families choose Direct Pay so nothing comes out of pocket, but both work beautifully.

Option 1 — Direct Pay (no out-of-pocket cost)

With Direct Pay, ClassWallet sends payment to us directly from your student's EFA funds. You never pay out of your own pocket.

  1. Request an invoice from us using the invoice request form. We'll need your student's name & which subscription you'd like.

  2. We'll send you an itemized invoice with everything Arkansas requires — our vendor name, a clear description of each item, itemized prices & the total, and your EFA student's name.

  3. Log in to ClassWallet, go to the Direct Pay section, and select "Pay."

  4. Choose Rooted in Writing as your vendor and upload the invoice we sent you.

  5. Once your Direct Pay request is approved, ClassWallet sends payment to us — and we'll get your box on its way.

Option 2 — Reimbursement

Prefer to purchase now & be reimbursed? You can do that too.

  1. (Recommended) Submit a Pre-Approval Request Form through School Choice Arkansas first — it helps speed things along. Pre-Approval Request Form

  2. Purchase your subscription right here on our site.

  3. Upload your receipt in the Reimbursement section of the ClassWallet portal.

  4. Your receipt will include everything EFA looks for: our name & contact information, a clear description of each item, itemized prices & the total, and the date of purchase.
